Working in Altrincham
Altrincham is an affluent Cheshire market town, based in the heart of the vibrant Northern Powerhouse and close to both Manchester Airport and Manchester city-centre. Altrincham was recently voted the North West winner in The Sunday Times 'Best Places to Live Guide 2021'.
The recent regeneration of the town centre has transformed Altrincham into a gastro centre, with coffee shops, restaurants and bars opening on a daily basis. Several premium retailers have moved into the area, further cementing the economic strength of Altrincham and its desire to provide a unique shopping experience outside of the Manchester City Centre.
Well known surrounding towns such as Timperley, Bowdon, Hale and Hale Barns are easily commutable locations all offering a similar affluent, friendly environment.
The hidden gem of Altrincham is the local market. Offering everything from freshly baked pizza to bespoke ales, the area is often busy at all times of the week, both day and night. Just down the road is Goose Green another area popular with the younger demographic, boasting restaurants and clubs in a close, sociable environment.
The success of Altrincham throughout the ages has been its transportation links. Ideally located in the South Manchester area allows for quicks access to both the city and Cheshire. The combination of both the tram, bus and train station means that the area is commutable from nearly all nearby locations with frequent transport provided.
