Myerson donate laptops to St Ambrose Barlow RC High School
At Myerson Solicitors, we understand the responsibility and importance of giving back to our community, and as the COVID-19 pandemic has forced businesses to find new ways of working, schools also have to think of various ways to support their pupils and parents.
Reported by Ofcom, around 9% of children in the UK, between 1.1 million and 1.8 million have no access to a laptop, desktop, or tablet at home.
According to the Department of Education, 560,000 devices were delivered to schools and councils last year. Nevertheless, schools such as St Ambrose Barlow Roman Catholic School, are still struggling. Headteacher, Ben Davies, took to BBC News, to reach out to local businesses and communities for the support and Myerson Solicitors were more than happy to help.
Our fabulous IT department was able to donate over 15 unused laptops to assist Greater Manchester schools with home learning.
