Cyber Essentials Plus

We are pleased to have passed the required security tests and to have been awarded the Cyber Essentials Plus certification from IASME Consortium.

Cyber Essentials is the official UK-wide, government-backed certification that helps companies guard against cyber threats. In this digital age, cybersecurity is vital for all businesses, encompassing everything that pertains to protecting sensitive data. The certification of Cyber Essentials requires organisations to have a number of technical and procedural controls that improve information security to prevent common internet-borne cyber-attacks.

Gordon Harper, Head of IT at Myerson, said:

“We are delighted to have passed the series of tests carried out, which ensured the technical and procedural controls had been successfully implemented within the firm. With teams working from home and using their personal internet routers, it is even more relevant for businesses to ensure their security procedures and policies are not overlooked. We regularly maintain and review our procedures and ensure all our employees are trained to identify security threats. For Myerson, receiving this certification endorses our stature as a firm that takes cybersecurity very seriously. As a trusted adviser, it is vital we do everything we can to maintain the highest standards and protect our employees and clients from cyber-related threats”.

Cyber Essentials assures that a number of key information security controls are in place within an organisation. Learn more about Cyber Essentials here.
