Myerson Win Two Prestigious Manchester Legal Awards 2021
We could not be prouder to have come away with two outstanding awards at this year’s prestigious Manchester Legal Awards 2021, winning ‘Corporate Team of the Year’ and ‘Property Team of the Year’.
After we were successfully recognised and shortlisted within four categories:
Team of the Year - Corporate and Commercial
Team of the Year - Employment
Team of The Year - Property
and Large Law Firm of the Year (20+ partners)
The team came away with two wins on the evening.
Winning - Corporate and Commercial Team of the Year.
M.Akeel Latif, Head of the Corporate and Commercial Team commented on the win:

The Manchester Legal Awards is a fantastic way to celebrate the legal profession within the region, and although the awards were held slightly differently this year, it was great to see all the firms come together online. The Corporate and Commercial Team at Myerson were not the only winners on the night.
Winning – Property Team of the Year.
Head of Real Estate, Joanne Perritt was delighted to win Property Team of the Year and said:
“Wow! The Real Estate Group at Myerson is absolutely thrilled to have won at the Manchester Legal Awards 2021. It was fantastic to hear that the judges were not only impressed with how the work we do is helping to define the Manchester skyline, but how we have supported our team both personally and professionally during the pandemic. Teamwork is everything at Myerson!”
The awards were held by the Manchester Law Society and successfully revealed on Thursday, 17th June, in an online virtual event. Those successfully shortlisted were judged by prominent business leaders and organisations from the North West business community.
The process is extremely vigorous and involves both submissions and panel interviews to evaluate the nominees. What a great way to shine a spotlight on the excellent Legal Profession within Manchester.
