Amy is an Associate Solicitor in the award-winning Employment team at Myerson, bringing a wealth of experience and a strong academic background to her role.

She studied Law at the University of Manchester, graduating with a 2:1. Amy then completed her Legal Practice Course at BPP University, where she achieved a Distinction.

Amy joined Myerson’s Employment team in December 2022 and quickly demonstrated her expertise and dedication, earning a promotion to Associate Solicitor in September 2024.

Amy provides tailored, practical advice on various employment law and HR matters.

Known for her professionalism and approachable demeanour, Amy is dedicated to providing clear, accessible legal advice and building strong, supportive relationships with her clients.

Her friendly yet expert approach makes her a trusted advisor to individuals and businesses needing employment law guidance.

Expertise and Past Cases

Amy is passionate about supporting individuals through challenging employment law matters, offering empathetic and expert guidance tailored to each client’s unique situation. She also collaborates with businesses to deliver pragmatic, results-driven advice and risk-reducing solutions to complex employment law issues.

Her expertise includes:

  • Representing clients in Employment Tribunal claims, including Unfair dismissal, Wrongful dismissal, Discrimination and employment status disputes;
  • Managing large group claimant cases, including protective awards for redundancy-related failures; and
  • Negotiating settlement agreements to secure fair and advantageous terms for employees.
  • Providing tailored advice on disciplinary, grievance, and appeal procedures;
  • Advising on sickness absence management and protocols;
  • Advising on performance management;
  • Drafting bespoke employment contracts and policies for businesses; and
  • Advising on and drafting settlement agreements on behalf of businesses who wish to exit employees from the Business.
