We are excited to announce an upcoming webinar series: “Managing Commercial Agents: Practical Guidance for Principals”.

The series will provide expert insights into the operation of the Commercial Agents Regulations, the Principal / Agent relationship, and the issues that Principals commonly have to deal with.

The first webinar in the series is scheduled for 9:00am on Tuesday, 25 February 2025 and will be presented by Suzanne Carr (Partner) and Robert Brothers (Senior Associate) who are specialists in Commercial Agency Law.

Attendees can expect a comprehensive discussion covering:

• An Overview of Commercial Agency Regulations

• The Rights of an Agent and Principal

• Restrictions on an Agent’s rights considering non-compete provisions and restrictive covenants
• Breach of an agency agreement and when a Principal may terminate an agency for poor performance
